Brenda (Coyle) Dutton, 68, of Sandown, NH, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Brenda was born in Liverpool, England on October 1, 1945, a daughter of the late John and Florence (Dobson) Coyle.
She completed her nurses training at Walton Hospital in Liverpool. For over 50 years she served as a Registered Nurse, caring for and beloved by, her many patients. Brenda retired from nursing in 2011 from the Hampstead Hospital in Hampstead, NH. She filled each day with the pursuits that brought her joy. Among her most favorite hobbies were music, especially the Beatles; dancing; visiting the beach; spending time with her family and doting on her four grandchildren. Brenda also enjoyed many years as a member of the Red Hat Society.
She is survived by her four children: Paul Dutton and his wife Christine of Londonderry, NH; Steven Dutton and his wife Emily of Goffstown, NH; Julie Dutton of Hampstead, NH and David Dutton of Derry, NH; four grandchildren, Owen, Stella, Lincoln, and Penelope; her fiancé, Michael Reis of Sandown; and by her brother, John Coyle of Liverpool.
Calling hours were Sunday, April 27th from 1 – 4pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, April 29th at 10:30am in St. Anne Church, Emerson Rd., Hampstead with cremation to follow. Private burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to BreatheNH.org.
