Joyce Curran Nunez, 90, of Mystic died Friday, April 18, 2014 at the Westerly Hospital. She was born in Boston, MA on December 10, 1923, the daughter of Maurice and Annette (LaFrance) Curran Jr.
Her husband, John M. Nunez, predeceased her.
She was a devoted mother who loved her family.
She is survived by her son, William MacDade Nunez of Mystic and her brother, Maurice Curran III. She is predeceased by her son Robert F. Nunez and her daughters Lee Ann Schettino and Maureen Nunez Adams. She is also predeceased by her sister Annette Conlon.
Joyce’s family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday from 5 to 7pm at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic. Burial will be on Friday at 2:00pm in Spring Grove Cemetery, Andover MA.
