Obituary

NEW CASTLE, MAINE: Judith “Judy” (Martineau) Wogan, 67, died on Saturday, April 19, 2014 under the care and comfort of her family at her residence in New Castle, Maine following a brief illness.
She was born in Boothbay Harbor, Maine on October 1, 1946 the daughter of the late Eugene Martineau and Phyllis (Jamer) Martineau.
Judy is survived by her husband Craig Wogan of New Castle, Maine. She was the mother of Shane Bowles and his wife Sandra Bowles of Marlborough, Stacey Caulder and her husband Jeff Caulder of North Woodstock, NH and Samantha Leduc of Barrington, RI. She was the sister of Paula Houghton of Pemaquid Point, ME and Susan Barton of New Castle, Maine. Step-mother of John Mark O’Brien of York, Maine. Daughter-in-law of Anna-Mae Barney of Sudbury and Sister-in-law of Candace Kaufman of Wayland, Donald Wogan, Jr of Hudson and Glen Wogan and his wife Jean of Framingham. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Judy spent her formative years in Wayland and was a graduate of Wayland High School. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling with her husband and family. She also loved to be outdoors in her gardens and planting. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and was completely devoted to her family whom she cherished.
At the request of her family there will be no funeral home visitations. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 10:00 am at the Wogan family lot in Lakeview Cemetery, Commonwealth Rd (Rte 30), Wayland.
In lieu of flowers her family suggests that memorial gifts in Judy’s memory may be sent to the Dean Snell Cancer Foundation, POB 104, Brunswick, ME 04011 (deansnellcancerfoundation.org) and would be greatly appreciated.
