LEONARD, Matthew S. suddenly, of Dedham, April 20, 2014. Beloved husband of Grace A. (Froia) Leonard for 54 years. Devoted father of Suzanne M. Moore and her husband Charles of Mansfield and Cynthia Kahler and her husband Daniel of Foxboro. Loving Pa to Kaitlin and Shannon Moore of Mansfield, and Jack Kahler of Foxboro. Brother of Mary Fitzgerald of Walpole, Michael Leonard of Jamaica Plain, Martha Moss of Dallas, TX, and the late Hugh Leonard. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Matthew was the former manager for Star Market and employee of the N.E. Retail. Graduate of Roxbury Latin, past president and active member of the Norwood Rotary Club and recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow Award. Member of the Dedham Retired Men’s Club.
Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, on Thursday, April 24 from 4-8 pm and on Friday, April 25 at 8 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Susanna Church, Dedham at 9 am. Interment in Mt. Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
