Laconia----- Anita Elizabeth (Lepage) Harris, 92, of 85 Clinton Street, Lakeport, died at the Laconia Rehabilitation Center on Sunday, April 20, 2014. The Lord rose and took our mother home on Easter day.
Mrs. Harris was born January 24, 1922 in Laconia, N.H., the daughter of the late Alfred and Pomela (Gilbert) Lepage. She was a lifetime resident of Laconia and was a communicant of Our Lady of the Lakes Church, Lakeport. She had been employed at Barberry Mills, Sweaterville and Molex. She was 81 years old when she retired from Molex.
Mrs. Harris loved her home and family. She had many different animals over the years and loved them all.
Survivors include a son, Peter L. Harris, and his wife, Donna, of Moses Lake, Washington, a daughter, Priscilla L. Harris, of Lakeport, five grandchildren, Cynthia Cooney and her husband Jeff of Laconia, Cheryl Normandin and her husband, Allan of Center Conway, Peter Nowood of Morrisville, NC, Peter Harris Jr. and his wife Kristine of Woodbridge, VA and Patrick Harris and his wife Sarah of Spokane Valley, Washington; ten great grandchildren; Justin, Brianna, Alex, Crysta, Katelyn, Avery, Brandon, Skyler, Bostyn and Lawson, two nieces; Jane Irish and Diane Johnson and three nephews; Richard Lovett Jr., Eddy Gryes and Joseph Gryes.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harris was predeceased by her husband of forty years, Roger L. Harris, in 1981, by a sister, Elizabeth Lovett, two brothers in law; Richard Lovett and Frank Gryes and a sister in law, Lucy Gryes.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 10AM at St. Andre Bessette Parish, St. Joseph Church, 30 Church Street, Laconia, N.H.
Burial will follow in the family lot in Bayside Cemetery where Mrs. Harris will be buried next to her husband.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the New Hampshire Humane Society, P.O. Box 572, Laconia, NH 03247.
