Claudette R. Roy, 69, of Hooksett, NH died April 18, 2014 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Lake Drolet, Canada on August 1, 1944, she was the daughter of Paul E. and Fernande (St. Laurent) Therrien. She was educated in the Canadian school system.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed by Manchester Knitted Fashions (MKF Corp) for over 20 years.
Claudette loved to travel, paint and spend time with her family. Above all else, she will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be missed by all who knew her.
Family members include her husband of 48 years Marquis N. Roy of Hooksett; one daughter, Lynne Gagnon and husband Michael of Derry; one son, Gary Roy and wife Julie of Hooksett; her grandchildren, Jessica Gagnon, Melissa Gagnon, Michael Gagnon Jr, Dalton Roy, and Brandon Roy; her siblings, Louise and husband Roger Roy, Jean-Louis and wife Maria Dalsava, Ghislaine and husband Christian Bilodeau, Benoit and wife Lauren Poirier, Gaetane and husband Jacques Boulet, Pauline and husband Gervais Charrier, Sylvie, Doris and husband Robert Dupuis, Martine and husband Gilles Boulanger, Guylaine and husband Bruno Charrier; many nephews, nieces and cousins.
A memorial Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Saturday, April 25, 2014 in Holy Rosary Church, Hooksett. Committal will be in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum at a later date.
