TAUNTON – Mary C. (Camara) Teixeira, wife of the late Joseph G. Teixeira, died at the Life Care Center of Raynham on April 17, 2014.
She was 91.
Born in Madeira Island, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Augusta (Silva) Camara.
A resident of the area since 1942, and homemaker for most of her adult life, Mrs. Teixeira was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Anita L. Flanagan of Taunton; two brothers, Joseph Camara of Raynham and Antonio Camara and his wife Betty of San Diego, CA; two sisters, Augusta Andrade of Somerset and Gabriela Hoffman and her husband Keith of Raynham; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Wednesday, April 23rd at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
