NATICK: Dora A. (Taglienti) Frada, 93, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham following a brief illness.
She was born in Mercer County, PA on March 13, 1921 the daughter of the late Giacomo Taglienti and Rosina (Secinore) Taglienti.
She is survived by her loving and devoted children; Nanci Thurston of Hopedale, Cynthia Saleme of Dedham, Robert Frada and his husband Jeffrey Everett of Natick, Linda Larson of Milford and Michael Frada of Boston. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was the wife of the late Louis G. Frada who died in September of 2007 and mother of the late Patricia Farnese.
Dora has been a resident of Natick for over 50 years and previously resided in Newton. She was a graduate of Newton North High School. Dora was an accomplished and talented seamstress for most of her life. She was an avid Red Sox fan and also enjoyed baking for her family and friends. She was a loving and cherished mother and grandmother and her family was the center and focus of her life. She will be greatly missed by all the lives that she touched.
Visitations will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Road (Off Rte 30), Cochituate Village, Wayland.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 10:00 am at Good Shepherd Parish at St. Zepherin Church, 99 Main Street (Rte 27) Cochituate Village, Wayland.
Interment will follow in the Frada family lot in St. Zepherin Cemetery.
