Allen Caggiano Sr. of Tyngsboro died Monday in the Kindred Hospital, Peabody. Born and raised in the North Shore, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Louise (Perry) Caggiano.
Allen was the devoted father of Sharon Harriman and her husband Glenn of Georgia, Allan Joseph Caggiano and his wife Pamela of Middleboro, Christopher Caggiano and his wife Natalia of North Carolina, Debra Caggiano of Swampscott, Allan Caggiano and his wife Jennifer of Norwell, and Matthew Smith of California. He was the loving grandfather of 14 grandchildren and brother of Steve Caggiano and his wife Helen of Tyngsboro, Joseph Caggiano and long-time companion Beverly of Chelmsford, Frances Pelletier and her husband Robert of Nashua, NH, and the late Michael Caggiano and his wife Claire. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Thursday, April 17 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family from 9 - 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
