Serena D. Allard, 61

Serena D. (Wiese) Allard, age 61, of Attleboro, formerly of Norton and Mansfield passed away peacefully in the presence of her dear family on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island.
Born in Kittery, Maine on December 27, 1952, she was a loving daughter of the late Walter and Mamie (Lombardi) Wiese.
Serena spent her childhood living in Germany and Mansfield. She was educated in Mansfield public schools and was a graduate of Mansfield High School.
For over twenty years, Serena had faithfully worked as a Hematologist and Lab Technician at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
Her favorite times spent were those in the presence of her adoring family, especially with her grandchildren. Her interests included sewing, cooking, crafts, and photography.
Serena will always be remembered for caring nature and the kind way in which she always put others first. She had made her home in Attleboro for the over 10 years and had formerly resided in Norton and Mansfield.
She is survived by her loving and devoted children, Monica L. Green and her husband Al of Woonsocket, RI, Justin C. Allard of Norton, Dawn M. King and her husband Bryan of Norton, and Tara M. Allard of Norton. She was the dear sister of Marcus Wiese of Texas, Dana Wiese of Florida and Wesley Wiese of Maine. She was the cherished grandmother of Matthew Green, Arianna Green, Kaydence Mastromatteo and Lillian King. She is also survived by her former husband Richard P. Allard of Norton, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Monday, April 21st at 9:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will be private.
Visiting hours will be held on SATURDAY, April 19th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.
