Great Grandpa ~ Age 92
Passed away peacefully on April 12, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Preceded in death by wife Josephine; infant daughters JoAnn & Mary Jo; infant granddaughter Brittney Kline; sister Melvina Wenzel; & brother Ole. Survived by children Michael "Mickey" (Gloria), Julie Erickson (Clyde), Jody Van Canneyt (Bob), Debbie Nordling (Eric), Cindi Eide, Nona Sinn (Terry), Tim (Christine) & Bobbi Kline (Tom); 22 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; brother Ray; sister Marilyn DeWalt (Larry); other relatives, friends & faithful feline companion, Buddy. Proud WWII veteran & recipient of 2 purple hearts. Avid hunter & fisherman. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday (4/23) 11:00 AM at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 N. Margaret St., North St. Paul. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, North St. Paul. Visitation Tuesday from 4-7:00 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Ave., North St. Paul, & one hour before Mass at church. Memorials preferred to the VA Hospital or American Heart Assoc. Special thanks to the staff & doctors at the VA Hospital & the staff at Woodbury Villa for their outstanding care.
