Salvatore Federico, 70, of Ventura passed away early on Sunday Morning April 13, 2014.
Salvatore was born November 2, 1943 in Derby, Connecticut and was a Ventura County Resident for the past 45 years coming from Los Angeles.
He was a retail clerk for 30 years for Vons Safeway.
He met the love of his life, his wife Sharon, on June 11, 1967 while she was shopping at the Grocery Store where he worked they were married for 46 years and were able to enjoy taking 13 cruises together.
He was a dodger fan and liked to watch all their games. You would often see Salvatore sitting on the Sofa envolved in a Western Movie and eating sunflower seeds or enjoying his favorite meal of a good steak and baked potato.
Salvatore is survived by his beloved wife Sharon; daughter Yvette Federico of Ventura; sons Scott Winters and his wife Marilyn of Oxnard, and Mike Federico of Ventura; brother Michael Federico of South Pasadena; grandchildren Natalie Bohnert, Valerie Bohnert, Aiden Winters and Mateo Winters; and his beloved dog Chewy.
