MARY D. (BROOKS) “DOT” ZEHNDER, 88, passed away on April 14 2014.
She was a life-long homemaker, a member of Kentuckiana Center, served on the Jefferson County Advocacy Committee, and was the first woman Councilwoman for the City of Lyndon where she served for 12 years.
Survivors include her daughters, Janice Thompson (Jimmy), Gerri Harrod, Bonnie Zehnder, and Angel Thornton (Greg Mullins); grandchildren, Donovan, Adam, Doug, Kim, Kevin, Paul, Tracy, Tonya, Ray, Dustin and Ashley; her brother, Fulton Brooks (Inez); and sister, Jane Thompson.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road with burial in Resthaven Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 – 8 p.m. Tuesday and 1 – 8 p.m. Wednesday.
