Beloved husband of Christine (Graffam) Vella. Loving father of Charles Vella of Cumberland, RI, Joseph Vella, Thomas Vella, both of Quincy, Christine & her husband John Morris of New Ipswich, NH, Gerard Vella of Brockton, Jean & her husband Michael Marcella of Everett, Natalie & her husband Paul McDonald of Weymouth and the late Stephen & his wife Mary of Boston. Brother of Teresa Ricciuti of Quincy. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Saturday at 9 AM.
Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM.
Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM.
Cremation will follow.
Ross owned R and C Leasing Company in Quincy. He had previously worked as a manager, dispatcher and truck driver for APA, Hermans and Parker Transportation. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was a member of the VFW Post #95 in Quincy. A licensed pilot, he enjoyed flying his small craft. He also enjoyed bowling.
