Ethel (Johnson) Ogren. Age 92, passed away at the Colonial Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on Sunday, April 13, 2014. She was the wife of the late Ernest N. Fisher and the late Herbert F. Ogren and is survived by her 2 children, Robert Fisher of Weymouth and Sandra Ward of Hingham and her grandchildren, Steven Ward of Taunton, Deborah Ward Schlager of Quincy, Christine Ward of Abington and William Fisher of Weymouth. Ethel also leaves 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Fred H. and Alma C. Johnson and is the last of 9 children; the most recently deceased were the late Walter Johnson and Edward Johnson.
Ethel was born in Braintree, grew up in Weymouth and lived in Holbrook for 20 years before moving back to Weymouth. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Quincy.
A Funeral Service will be held at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Thursday, April 17 at 11 AM. Visiting Hours will be on Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM. Interment will be in Old North Cemetery in Weymouth.
