Webb, Virginia “Louise” Dever , 88, of Louisville passed away Thursday April 10 2014 at her home.
Louise was a native of Grayson Co., Ky., a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church & The Seniors Citizens Club at Church.
She will be greatly missed by her family & many friends for whom her heart & home were always open, especially for the 60 years of infamous Derby parties.
Preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest C. Dever; her sons, Bobby, Denny & Johnny; a grandson Kelly; her parents & all of her brothers & sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Samuel C. Webb; seven children, Brenda Miller (Mike), Patricia Jones (Ed), Joseph Dever (Susan), Neil Dever (Anne), Nancy Duncan (Dean), Carolyn Stack (Jerry Thompson) & Sharon Schmelz (Steve); 19 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church 1925 Lewiston Drive with burial in St Andrews Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 – 8:00 PM Sunday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy.
