Rita J. (Fleury) Nolan, 96, of Warwick, RI, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, surrounded by loving family and her devoted caregiver team. She was born in New Bedford, and was the loving wife of the late George L. Nolan.
Her life was devoted to raising her family, working in the family business, Nolan Studios, and enjoying her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Jacqueline Nolan-Santos, of Fuquay-Varina, NC; two sons, George A. Nolan, of Warwick, RI, and Donald O. Nolan and his wife, Hildy, of Fairhaven, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
She was the grandmother of the late Ryan P. Nolan and the sister of Alberta Cormier.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford Wednesday, April 16th at 10 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours Tuesday, April 15th from 6-8 PM.
