Helen A. (Cooper) O’Hara, 87 years of Brockton, died April 7, 2014 at the New England Sinai Hospital. Wife of the late John O’Hara and Charles Rajunas. Born and raised in West Roxbury, a daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (Queeney) Cooper.
Helen had been a resident of Brockton for the past 59 years. She had been employed by Shawmut Bank and Rockland Trust for 30 years. She enjoyed ceramics, gardening, and loved to travel to Egypt and Switzerland, but what she enjoyed the most was spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her grandchildren Andrew Rajunas, Kimberly Lehn and her husband Graham, Christopher and Samantha Williams, a great grandson Logan Lehn, cousins Merrillyn Collins, Larry Sherman and daughter in law Susan Russo She was the mother of the late Richard C. Rajunas.
Visiting hours will be held in the Christ Congregational Church, 1350 Pleasant St.,Brockton on Saturday April 12, from 9 to 10am followed by a service at 10am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery.
