Arlene Doyle, age 79, passed away on Apr 7, 2014 at Mt. St. Vincent Nursing Home. She was born in Springfield on May 10, 1934 to the late James and Eva (Scott) Doyle. Arlene was a former communicant of St Patrick Church in Chicopee. She was a volunteer for 13 years at St Patrick’s School cafeteria. She leaves her dear friend Sr. Constance Cawley and her faithful companion her cat “Muffin”; she also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 brothers Francis and James Doyle; one sister Dorothy Simms and one nephew James Doyle Jr. The family would like to thank the staff at Mt. St. Vincent Nursing Home for their special care. A Memorial Mass will be held on Fri. Apr 11, 2014 at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Elms Chapel with burial to follow in St Patrick Cemetery in Chicopee. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral in the Elms Chapel from 9AM to the time of service. Grise Funeral is in charge of the arrangements.
