POLLARD- Joan A. (Riddle), age 74, of Newton, formerly of Tewksbury, died peacefully on April 4, surrounded by her family. Daughter of the late Albert L. and Jessie (Allen) Riddle. Loving and devoted mother of Lauren Pollard of Auburndale, Karen Pollard Murphy and her husband Michael of Bethlehem, CT, Bonnie Pollard-Johnson and her husband David of Mystic, CT and Shawn Pollard of Estero, FL. Loving Grandmother of Nicholas Johnson of Mystic, CT. Sister of Albert L. Riddle and his wife Kate of Merrimack, NH, Dorothy Pace of Orlando, FL, Brian Riddle and his wife Joan of Grimes, IA, Arlene Pappalardo of Naples, FL, William Riddle of Tewksbury, MA, Michael Riddle of Wilmington, MA , Charles Riddle of Tewksbury, MA. She is predeceased by Cynthia (Riddle) Lefebvre, Carol (Riddle) Kenyon, Arthur Riddle, and her former husband Thomas F. Pollard. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, grandnieces , grandnephews and extended family members.
Calling hours are Friday, April 11, from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 12, at 10 a.m. at the Tewksbury United Methodist Church, 2335 Main St., Tewksbury (cor. of Main and South Sts.). There will not be a procession from the funeral home. Please meet the family at church. Interment at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan's memory may be made to the Jessie E.
