Mr. Anderson was a native of Heidelburg, Germany then spent most of his life in Evans. He graduated from Evans High School in 1978. Mr. Anderson worked as an electrical planner for Austin Industrial in Augusta.
Family members include his mother: Elli Anderson of Martinez; daughter: Amy Malpass (Jeffery) of Decatur, GA; sons: Steven L. Anderson, Jr. (Casey) of Thomson, GA and Chad Anderson (fiancée Chelsea Reese) of Little Rock, AR; granddaughter: Sophia Malpass; grandson: Emmaus Anderson; brother: David Anderson (Eva) of Evans and sister: Susan Anderson of Martinez.
A graveside service will be held Friday, April 11, 2014 at 12:00 P.M. in Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Tom Kalliokoski officiating.
