Ernest "Ernie" DiMuccio, of Atwells Avenue, Johnston, died Monday, April 7,2014 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Alberta L. (Testa) DiMuccio.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Forte) DiMuccio. He lived in Johnston for thirty years, previously living in North Providence.
Mr. DiMuccio was a graduate of North Providence High School. He was an avid New York Yankee fan.He is survived by his brother, Ralph DiMuccio and his wife, Camille of Smithfield and Naples, Florida, sister-in-law, Constance McCarthy of North Providence, nephews, Joseph, Ernest and Robert DiMuccio, John and Kevin McCarthy, nieces, Paula Fortin, Constance Varone and Debra Almonte and several great nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Gracie.
His Funeral will be held Friday at 9AM from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI. Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, 4 Lafayette Street, Johnston. Burial in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4-7PM.
