Ross, Helen “Bea”, 85, of Louisville, passed away April 7, 2014. She was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church. After her years in the business community, she continued to dedicate her time to volunteering through her church and she was an accomplished seamstress.
Helen was preceded in death by her son, Steven Douglas Ross, and her grandson,
George Wayne Shaw, Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan Jones (Craig) and Ethel Shaw; grandson, Brad Jones; granddaughters, Jodi Moore (Tracy) and Elizabeth Banks (Rich); and 7 great-grandchildren, Jenna, Blake, Aleksandra, Mitchell, Rachel, Austin and Gracie.
A memorial visitation will be held in Helen’s honor from 2-6 p.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Josephs Children’s Home, 2823 Frankfort Avenue, 40206.
