William "Billy" Taylor passed away September 5, 2004 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS.
Visitation was held on September 8, 2004 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Seven Oaks Funeral Home. The committal service was held on September 8, 2004 at 2:00 PM in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home with Burial in Pine Flat Cemtery with Bro Rick Gladwell officiatting. Garry Taylor, Larry Taylor, Glenn Potts, and Lt. Michael Taylor served as pallbearers.
He is survived by: his parents Colvin Adrian and Marion June Taylor of Water Valley, MS; two daughters, Tammy Taylor of Nanicoke, PA and Kimberly Taylor of Breman, AL; one son, Brad Taylor of Orlando, FL; one sister, Lisa Taylor Curry of Monticello, FL; two brothers, Garry Taylor and Larry Taylor both of Water Valley, MS; and four grandchildren, Virginia Taylor, Destiny Taylor, Cassandra Still, and Dalton Still. He was preceeded in death by his brother Robert Taylor in 1991.
Mr. Taylor served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and the Desert Storm Conflict. He retired from the Navy. He was a member of the Paris Baptist Church in Paris, MS.
