GLOUCESTER – William H. Rust, 79, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in the Genesis Twin Oaks Nursing Home in Danvers.
Born in Gloucester on July 3, 1934, he was the son of the late Clayton E. and Ada (Pinkham) Rust.
A U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, he was honorably discharged in December of 1955.
William was a Gloucester resident for many years, however resided in Beverly for the past five years. He earned his living as a salvage operator on Cape Ann and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
William is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Elliott, Samuel, Clayton and Florence.
In keeping with his wishes, services will be held privately. Arrangements are under the direction of the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester.
