Ralph C. Merritt, 84, of Yakima, Washington, died Tuesday, October 19, 2004, at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 6, 2004, at Brushy Creek Cemetery, Irwin County, with Rev. J.A. Clements officiating..
Mr. Merritt was born October 12, 1920, in Ocilla, Georgia, to the late Clayton E. and Ada Harper Merritt. He was a retired appliance repairman. Mr. Merritt served in the United States Army and Navy.
Survivors include a daughter: Sharron Merritt, McKinney, TX; three grandchildren; two sisters and three brothers: Georgann M. Winslow, Joyce Carter, both of Fernandina Beach, FL, Gerald and Wendell Merritt, both of Fitzgerald and Don Merritt, Brunswick, GA. He was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and a sister.
