Richard "Dick" Perry, 72, of Fairhaven died Friday April 4, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of Bethany E. (Bellotti) Perry.
Born and raised in New Bedford, the son of the late Manuel and Mary (Czaban) Perry, he lived in Fairhaven since 1966.
Mr. Perry was formerly employed as a quality control manager at Morse Cutting Tools.
He was a graduate of New Bedford High School and the University of Rhode Island.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion in Fairhaven.
He is survived by his wife; his siblings, John Perry and his wife Patricia, Mary Jayne Perry, and Joyce DeMotta and her husband Gus, all of New Bedford; his brother-in-law, Jack Bellotti and his wife Betsy of San Francisco, CA; many nieces and nephews; several Godchildren; and his two special little girls, Jenna and Emma Farland.
His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd., Route 6, Mattapoisett. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
