Obituary

Jo-Ann Carol (Morrell) Trombly, 60, of New Bedford died Sunday October 31, 2004 unexpectedly at home. She was the wife of George R. Trombly.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Manuel C. and Dorothy M. (Morrell) Mello, she had lived in New Bedford for most of her life.

She attended Sacred Heart Church and St. Paul's Church.

Mrs. Trombly enjoyed camping and crocheting, and loved her animals very much.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Reneé Perry, and her husband Randy, of Fairhaven, and Richelle "Shelly" Jacques, and her husband Arthur, and Heather Trombly, all of New Bedford; two sons, Dwayne Trombly, and his fiancée, Michell Horta, and Chad Trombly, all of New Bedford; a sister, Mary Kennison of New Bedford; five brothers, Everett Vital of Lexington, KY, Frank Gregory and John Mello, both of Freetown, Ernest Mello of Acushnet, and Richard Mello of North Dartmouth; six grandchildren, Crystal Berube, Katie Perry,Victoria Perry, Samantha Jacques, Christopher Trombly and Dylan Trombly; 19 nieces and nephews; 15 great-nieces and nephews; and three longtime friends, Joyce, Alice and Pauline Daigle.

She was the mother of the late Darlene Trombly, grandmother of the late Arthur "AJ" Jacques, Jr., and sister of the late Manuel C. Gregory.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday November 3, 2004 at 11AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park Street, New Bedford. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday November 2, 2004 from 6-9 PM.
