Barbara Ann Kelly, 87, of Edgewood Drive in Harmony, died Friday, April 4, 2014 at Scalabrini Villa Health Center in North Kingstown. She was the wife of the late John A. Kelly.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Madeline (Rush) Strickland. She lived in Harmony since 1962.
Mrs. Kelly was a retired executive assistant to the Superintendent of the Foster-Glocester Regional School System and had been Chair to the Glocester Board of Canvassers.
She is survived by her children: Kathleen B. Gianquitti and her husband, Raymond of Narragansett, Michael J Kelly and his wife, Jacqueline of Harmony and Andrea K. Harnish and her husband, Jeffrey of Scituate; a granddaughter, Jennifer Dech and her husband, Ronn and a great granddaughter, Abigail Dech. She was predeceased by her brother Lawrence Strickland, Jr.
Funeral Monday at 10:15 AM from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:45 AM in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial in RI Veterans Cemetery. Visitation 9:15-10:15 AM.
