Obituary

PAXTON – Coranna T. “Terry” (Blais) Lefrancois, 87, died Thursday, April 3, 2014 in Notre Dame Long Term Health Care Center, Worcester, after a period of declining health. Her husband of 46 years, Raoul J. “Ray” Lefrancois, died in 1993.
She leaves a son, Paul R. Lefrancois and his wife Laurie J. Lefrancois of Paxton; 2 grandchildren, Rebecca Anne Lisowski and her husband Matt of Smithfield, RI and Kevin P. Lefrancois of Paxton; and a great-grandson Syrus.
She was born and raised in Plainfield, CT, the daughter of Larique and Rose E. (Boulais) Blais. She lived in Danielson, CT, in Webster for 34 years, and then in Sturbridge for several years before moving to Paxton in 2006.
Mrs. Lefrancois was the housekeeper and cook at Sacred Heart Rectory in Webster from 1975 to 1992. She then worked at the Sturbridge Senior Center from 1993 until she retired in 2003.
She was a member of Saint Columba’s Church. She previously was a communicant of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Webster and belonged to its Ladies of Saint Anne. She had been a member and Eucharistic minister at Saint Anne and & Saint Patrick Church in Sturbridge.
A memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, April 11, in Saint James Church, 12 Franklin Street, Danielson, CT. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. Donations in her name may be made to Saint Columba’s Church, 18 Richards Avenue, Paxton, MA 01612. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street,Webster.
