KATHRYN EUBANKS ROBERTS, went home to be with the Lord on April 3, 2014.
She was 94 years old and a resident of Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on October 10, 1919 in Hawesville, Kentucky.
During the war, Kathryn came to Louisville and got a job at the Sealtest Ice Cream Plant making forty cents an hour. Later she obtained a job at the Naval Ordnance Plant and doubled her wages to eighty cents an hour. After the war, Kathryn married Charles Edmond Roberts, Sr. and became a mother and a homemaker. She and Charles attended Shively Christian Church.
Kathryn and Charles were married for 52 years. He preceded her in death.
Kathryn is survived by her children, Charles E. Roberts, Jr. (Carol), Michael Roberts (Vikki), Mary Lue Roberts and Ray Roberts (Debbie); grandchildren, Jason Roberts (Trish), Kathy Kingsbury (Brian), Joshua Roberts and Courtney Roberts; and great grandchildren, Kara Roberts, Ellie Kingsbury, Izabella Roberts, Kyle Roberts and Gage Kingsbury.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Resthaven Cemetery, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY.
Visitation will be from 1 – 8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. on Monday.
