On April 2, 2014 George Forsyth, 88 of Towson passed away at The Maples of Towson. He was born August 31, 1925 to George & Rebecca Forsyth, He is preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Lois of 59 years, and his brother James Forsyth. He is survived by brother Fred Forsyth, stepsister Iris Will and their spouses, sister-in-law Elsie Forsyth, numerous nieces and nephews, his devoted friends Jason Scopp, Lisa and Mike Glos, who were faithfully at his side during the final years of his life. He served in the US Army Air Force 1943-46, Air Technical Service Command, Wright Field, Ohio, as a code specialist of the American Front. His business career was at Harry T. Campbell & Sons, aka. Genstar/LaFarge for 50 years until his retirement.
All are invited to Idlewyde Methodist Church for visitation on Sunday from 2-3p.m. Funeral Services will began at 3p.m. Interment private.
