SPENCER: Lilliebell (O’Coin) Letendre 101, formerly of 98 Maple St., died Wednesday, April 2 in Beaumont Nursing & Rehab.in Worcester.She was the wife of Harold L. Letendre who died in 1981. She leaves three sons Gerald H. “Jay” Letendre and his wife Jean of E.Berlin, Ct., Daniel R. Letendre and his wife Shirley of Brooksville, Fl., and James W. Letendre and his wife Margaret “Meg” of Spencer, a brother Harold O’Coin of Lantana, Fl., 7 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren, 1 great great-granddaughter, many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by brothers;Lionel, Clair, Wilfred, Woodrow, Roland and Leo, and sisters Lorraine Buckmaster and Jacqueline O’Coin. Born in E.Brookfield, she was the daughter of Leo and Eva (Duval) O’Coin. She worked at the former Kleven Shoe Co. of Spencer and No. Brookfield and later at Chess King in Worcester, before retiring in 1974.“Lill” was a member of Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish and its St. Anne’s Sodality, member and past President of Gaudette-Kirk Post 138 American Legion Aux. in Spencer, former member of the Lashaway Senior Citizen Club, Spencer Golden Age Club, Howe Village Social Club, Spencer Chapter of AARP and Degree of Hiawatha Pocahontas. She enjoyed playing bingo.Her funeral will be held on Saturday, April 5 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours are Saturday from 8:30 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
