James “Jimmy” Giguere, 44, of Grange Avenue in Woonsocket died Monday, March 31, 2014 at RI Hospital in Providence.
Born in Woonsocket, he is a son of Leo Giguere of Woonsocket and Janet (Dubois) Carter of Connecticut. He was a lifelong Woonsocket resident.
Jimmy was a carpenter and built custom homes. Hardest working and most talented man in his trade, he was always determined to make a better life for his whole family and anyone that needs to get back on their feet, and of course, himself last.
Jimmy is also survived by his fiancé Angela Riley and their daughter, Sophia Giguere. He is the father of Jeremy, Cayla, Cierra and Jarid Giguere. Brother of Debbie Giguere, Katie Barnier, Rita Dubois, Leo Giguere, Paula Eccelston, Paul Dubois, Billy, Annie and Ricky Giguere. He was the former husband of Candy Desjarlais.
His funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 AM in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI. Visitation is Friday 4-7PM. Burial Private.
