Faye Peacock Landrum
St. Simons Island, GA – On April 1, 2014, Faye Peacock Landrum danced her way back into the arms of the love of her life, Whitfield M. Landrum, who preceded her in death on March 27, 2013.
Mrs. Landrum was a lifelong resident of Augusta. She retired from Bell South after many years of service. More importantly she lived her life for her husband and children.
Family members include sons: Michael Landrum of Rochester, NY, and Larry Landrum (Gerri Wise) of St. Simons Island, GA; sister: Shirley Deese (Ronnie); grandchildren: Ashley Landrum White (Joe) and Lawson “Drew” Landrum (Sarah); great grandchildren: Lucas White and Lena White.
A funeral service will be Saturday, April 5, 2014, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Dr. Martin C. Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Dell Hadden, Drew Landrum, Sam Baker, Joe White, Christopher Immel, Cory Immel and Honorary Pallbearer Ronnie Deese.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mrs. Landrum to the Alzheimer’s Association at 106 SRP Drive Suite A, Evans, GA 30809.
