Anna "Sue" (Baker) Orender, 73 of Anderson died April 1, 2014 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield after an extended illness.
Sue was born October 16, 1940 in Wise, Virginia to Wilburn Presley and Emma Lucinda (Beverly) Baker.
She was a loving homemaker who raised three daughters with her husband Ed Orender and loved and enjoyed her ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Edward Wise Orender of Anderson whom she married November 17, 1959; her three daughters, Edwina Denise (Adam) Dorn; Betty June (Larry) Golday; Amy Susan Matthews; three sisters, Jenny (Chuck) Clevenger; Martha Hendrickson; Betty Jo Mullins; ten grandchildren: Michael; Heather, Tiffany; Adam; Alan; Kyle; Jennifer; Jessica; Jonathan and Jaleigh; nine great grandchildren: Sidney; Isabelle; Hailey; Brooklynn; Bradon; Dillon; Joanna; Gracelyn and Hanna; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, seven sisters and two brothers.
Service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 4, 2014 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Bill Ledbetter officiating with burial in East Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation is from noon until the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association; American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society.
