Obituary

Judith (Cyran) Nicoli, age 71, passed away on March 29, 2014 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Holyoke on Sept. 3, 1942. She was a daughter of the late Maryan and Stella (Motyka) Cyran. Judith was a communicant of St Stanislaus Basilica. She is predeceased by her parents Maryan and Stella Cyran and her sister Marion Fleury. She worked at Mercy Hospital in the billing department for over thirty years while raising her beloved children until her retirement. Judith enjoyed Polish music, going to Polish picnics and dancing. Her favorite spot was the Marginal Way in Maine. She enjoyed cooking and family dinners. She cherished mostly time spent with her family. She leaves 3 daughters Deborah Ritter of Ludlow, Mary Nicoli-Capaccio of Springfield, Lynne Butler of Wilbraham and her sister Joan Boutet and her husband Steve of Ludlow and 3 beloved grandchildren, Stephanie Weaver, Maxwell Ritter and Gillian Butler. She also leaves behind her dear neighbor Stanley Krupa. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Wed. April 2, 2014 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. with a prayer service to begin at 10 a.m. at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. Burial will follow in St Stanislaus Cemetery.
