Obituary

George H. “Hank” Dallaire, 86, of Manchester, died March 29, 2014 at Catholic Medical Center after a period of declining health.
He was born in Manchester on October 16, 1927 to George and Jeanne (Monast) Dallaire. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
During World War II he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served aboard the U.S.S. Rochester.
Mr. Dallaire worked as facilities manager for the law firm of Devine, Millimet, Stahl and Branch for many years. Prior to that, he was a bread man for several Manchester area bakeries including Genest Bakery.
He was a member of the League of 1000 Men of the Precious Blood. He enjoyed bowling, woodworking, trips in his car and the Red Sox.
The family includes his wife of 60 years, Simonne (Bourque) Dallaire of Manchester; six children, Suzanne R. Spears and husband, Wallace, of Manchester, Jeannine S. Praderio and husband, William, of Leawood, KS, Michelle L. Dallaire of Raymond, Lisa P. Houle and husband, Eddy, of New Boston, Marc H. Dallaire and wife, Jennifer, of Bel Air, MD and Jocelyn C. Dallaire of Chandler, AZ; 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; a sister, Yvonne M. Dallaire of Manchester; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by a sister, Rita Dumas and a brother, Frank Dallaire.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at St. Peter’s Church, 567 Manchester Rd., Auburn. Committal prayers followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
