Ian S. MacLaren, 21, of Londonderry, NH, died Sunday, October 31, 2004 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Mr. MacLaren was born in Lowell, MA on December 10, 1982, a son of Bryan S. and Faith A. (Tapley) MacLaren. He was a resident of Londonderry for the past 16 years, formerly living in Lowell, MA. He was employed as a builder/framer. He was a of graduate of Londonderry High School, Class of 2001. He enjoyed sports and played football, baseball and wrestled in school. He was an avid wrestler and holds the Londonderry High School record for the most pins in a season. He is also the first Londonderry wrestler to make it to the New England Regional Meet of Champions.
In addition to his parents of Londonderry, he is survived by one sister, Erin MacLaren of Londonderry, his paternal grandmother, Alice MacLaren of Lowell, MA, his maternal grandparents, John and Virginia Tapley of Westford, MA, several aunts and uncles.
Following cremation, friends may call on Wednesday, November 3rd from 5 - 9pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ian's memory to New Horizons Shelter, 199 Manchester Street, Manchester, NH 03105.
