Goffstown– Claire M. (Bartlett) Demers, 83, died March 26, 2014 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home following a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on February 18, 1931 the daughter of Raymond and Alice (Courchesne) Bartlett.
She had worked for Pandora Industries, Bel Air Nursing Home, and Hillsborough County Nursing Home.
She was an excellent mother with an enormous heart who always put her family first.
She was predeceased by her husband, George G. Demers on May 10, 1991.
Family members include 2 sons, Jean G. Demers and his wife, Dawn of Litchfield, Richard A. Demers of Hudson, 4 daughters, Angela Corfield and her husband, Robert of Hudson, Emelie Cooper of Goffstown, Elise Allard of Manchester, Claire S. Bolduc of Manchester, 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 sister, Helen Boufford and her husband, Donald, 2 brothers, Arthur Bartlett and his wife, Madeleine, Robert Bartlett and his wife, Frances, and a sister in law, Aline Demers.
A memorial reception will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM at the J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
