Watts, Sylvia Lane, 78, left this world to begin her new life in Heaven on Monday, March 24, 2014. She was a proud, 1954 graduate of Southern High School. Sylvia was retired from the catering department of the Executive West Hotel. She was a member of Southeast Christian Church. Sylvia was a beautiful Christian and was a prayer warrior. She was the greatest Mom and the best Mimi. Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband Donald E. Watts, her parents, John and Mary Lane; sisters, Margie Clark and Geneva Lane and brothers, Johnny, Steve, Jimmy, Freddie and Ray Lane. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Watts and Dawn Bays (Harold); grandsons, Jason and Kevin Bays; a sister, Norma Haley of Madisonville, KY and several nieces and great nieces and nephews and many special friends. We would like to thank Dr. Jeffrey Hargis and his staff and her Hosparus team who cared for her. Cremation was chosen. A memorial service celebrating Sylvia’s life will be held at 6:00pm, Friday, March 28th at Southeast Christian Church in the Fireside Room.
