Mariette Gardner, 63, of Manchester, died March 18, 2014 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home after a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester, April 17, 1950 and was a daughter of Edouard N. and Fernande (Aubin) Gardner. She was educated in Manchester schools and was a graduate of St. Marie’s High School.
She loved music and singing and enjoyed playing games with her nieces, nephews and family. Mariette always had a smile and a hug for her friends and family.
IN HER LIFE: She leaves six sisters: Claudette Gelfand and her husband, Barry of Florida, Suzanne Fortier and her husband, Leonard of Vermont, Denise Bilodeau of Manchester, Claire Bouchard and her husband, Dave of Weare, Jeanne King and her husband, Charles of Manchester and Louise Gardner of Manchester; 4 brothers: Joseph Gardner of Manchester, George Gardner and his wife, Barbara of Franklin, Richard Gardner and his wife, Kim of Walpole, and Edouard P. Gardner of Chelmsford , MA.; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Patricia Katsikas in 2009.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday April 5, 2014 at Parish of the Transfiguration, 107 Alsace St. corner of Kelley St., Manchester followed by a burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester, NH.
