Olivia (Rezendes) Galego, 87 of Fall River, passed away March 23, 2014 at St. Anne’s Hospital. She was the wife of the late Alfred C. Galego and the daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Pimentel) Rezendes. Prior to retiring, Olivia worked at Charlton Memorial Hospital as a Nurse’s Aide. She had been a parishioner of St. Thomas More Church, Somerset.
She is survived by her siblings: Cizaltina Bacon & Angelina Justa both of Somerset, Martina Silvia of Swansea, Rose Garcia & Adelaide Medeiros both of Fall River, Manuel Rezendes of New Bedford and Raymond Rezendes of Westport; many nieces & nephews.
Following cremation, family & friends are invited to attend Olivia’s Funeral Mass on TUESDAY, APRIL 1st at 10:00 A.M. in St. Thomas More Church. Private burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. There Are No Calling Hours. www.rogersfuneral.com.
