Ronald A. “Ronnie” Pierce age 70 of Brockton died Tuesday March 25, 2014 at Tufts New England Medical Center after a period of failing health. He was the devoted husband of Barbara L. (Janes) Pierce for 50 years. Ronnie was born in Brockton and raised in Whitman a son of the late Allen and June (Goucher) Pierce and had lived in Brockton for most of his life.
Ronnie was a tradesman who had worked for Charles Carpet in Weymouth and Westpine Windows in Hanover. He had also delivered papers for the Enterprise for many years. He was a hard working man who enjoyed tinkering on cars and doing yard work. He loved all sports especially the Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins.
In addition to his wife he leaves a brother Charles W. Pierce of Brockton and two sisters Sharon Bennett and Donna Gilpatrick both of Georgia.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton on Saturday at 10 am. Visitation will be from 9- 10 am. Burial in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Abington.
