Manchester-Lucienne G. Douville, 90, passed away on March 23, 2014 at the Maple Leaf Healthcare Center after a period of declining health. Born on November 30, 1923 in Manchester, New Hampshire and educated in the local school system, she was the daughter of Henry and Eugenie (Michaud) Lessard. She lived in the Fort Lauderdale and Miami area for more then 50 years before returning to Manchester in 2011.
In her life, she enjoyed golfing, tennis, playing the organ, painting and also enjoyed people watching at the Miami beaches.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Francis Douville, her son Drake Douville, sisters Beatrice Dumont and Pauline Nickerson, brothers Henry, Lionel, Robert, Oscar, Charles and Richard Lessard. She is survived by a daughter Carolyn Salvo of Toccoa, Georgia, five grand children, ten great grand children, sisters Therese Dion of Manchester, Aurea Levesque of Augusta, Maine and Elaine Boucher of South Portland, Maine, brothers Roger Lessard of Manchester, Paul Lessard of Topsham, Maine and Maurice Lessard of Augusta, Maine and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday March 29, 2014 from 10AM until 12PM at the J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home at 110 Bridge Street, Manchester, New Hampshire with a memorial service immediately following at 12PM.
