Obituary

Mr. Roland J. Daignault of Methuen died Sunday at Holy Family Hospital. Born in Lawrence he had been an area resident all of his life. The son of the late Emile and Leda (Lamontagne) Daignault he was educated in Lawrence schools and graduated from Boston Conservatory of Music. Mr. Daignault served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. while in the service he won a world wide music competition for all military personnel He worked as a music teacher and as a professional musician, he enjoyed spending time with his family and tuna fishing with his buddies on his boat “Musicman”. Mr. Daignault is survived by his wife of 49 years Annette (Derrico) Daignault of Methuen, one daughter Monique Daignault and her fiancee David Fay of Methuen, one son Richard Daignault of Methuen, one Brother Donald Daignault of Italy and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 9:30 to 11:00 am at the Plonowski Funeral Home, 180 Jackson Street.
