Antonio Forte, age 81, passed away on March 25, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Casal Vasco, Portugal he was the husband of Perpetua (Costa) Forte and the son of the late Antonio and Cecelia (Mello) Forte.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children; Francis, Sue, and Michael, step-children Steven, Tina, and Kyle, siblings; Armando and Armenda, 6 granchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Germano.
Antonio was the owner of Fall River Aluminum, former President of Academica Club, played soccer for Lusitano Club in Cumberland RI, and was a parishioner of Holy Cross Chapel.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on FRIDAY here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial Holy Cross Chapel at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Calling hours on THURSDAY from 6-8 P.M.
