Rockledge, FL - Catherine C. Taber, 85, died March 21, 2014 at the Wuesthoff Medical Center. Her devoted husband, Alton, was by her side.
Catherine was born March 22, 1928 in Bound Brook, NJ. She was daughter of the late Santo and Caroline (Chiccarelli) Lamancusa. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse who had worked at Island Terrace Nursing Home.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Alton E. Taber, Jr. of Acushnet; her children: David Taber, Alton Taber and his wife, Dyan, Henry Taber and his wife, Becky, and Wayne Taber and his wife, Patrice; her sisters: Grace Ivins and Marion Corsello; her brother: Santo Lamancusa; 5 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; and 3 step great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Kirby Funeral Home, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford on Thursday, 5:00-8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be on Friday at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
