Fisher, Harriet L. (Batey), age 95, of Wellesley MA, died March 22, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Alfred N. Fisher.
Devoted daughter of the late Thomas E. and Beatrice (Hanna) Batey, whom she thoughtfully cared for in their later years. Sister of the late Dorothy Ernenwein and the late Thomas E. Batey, Jr.
Beloved aunt of Beatrice E. Batey of Tacoma WA, Megan A. Spring of Belgrade MT, Kerry Cassidy of Clinton MT, Tamsen L. Cassidy of Haines AK and the late Thomas E. Batey III. Also survived by several cousins, grand nieces and nephews.
Loving cousin and friend of Kathy Roderick and family of Medfield MA.
Dear friend of Jeanne O’Connell of Waltham MA and Ruth “Sara” Kironde of Belmont MA.
Life member of the Eastern Star, Wisteria Chapter and former employee of the Wellesley Press.
She and her husband were surrogate parents to numerous youngsters. Her kindnesses, smiles, generosity, and love touched so many. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She was a CLASS ACT.
