BRADFORD: M. Janet Tardy, 96, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in the Merrimack Valley Hospice House.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Cummins. She worked for many years at the former Western Electric until her retirement. Janet was an active member of the Haverhill Garden Club for twenty-seven years and served two terms as President.
Janet loved spending time with her family and friends, she enjoyed entertaining, traveling, sewing, cooking and her true passion was gardening. Janet had a zest for life and will be remembered for her style and class. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Janet is survived by her son, Jay Michael Tardy and his companion, Kathleen Jackson of Bradford; a granddaughter, Michelle (Tardy) Bridges and her husband, Michael of Georgetown; one grandson, Michael Jay Tardy and his fiancée, Heather Sopp of Groveland and she was the loving great grandmother to three great grandchildren.
